PT Anugrah Argon Medica (AAM) received the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) certificate and the Decision Letter of the Director General of Customs and Excise regarding Recognition as an AEO Operator from the Directorate General of Customs and Excise on July 30, 2019.
The implementation of AEO in the company's business has a significant role and benefits. For economic operators, AEO speeds up the process of releasing goods with minimal document research and/or physical inspection, thereby reducing logistics costs.
Based on the Minister of Finance Regulation No. 227/PMK.04/2014, an AEO operator is an economic operator recognized by the Directorate General of Customs and Excise and is given certain customs treatment. Economic operators that can join AEO are manufacturers, importers, exporters, customs brokers, carriers, consolidators, intermediaries, port authorities, terminal managers, warehouse owners, and distributors.
Attending and symbolically receiving the AEO certificate handover was the Director of Supply Chain & System of AAM, Mr. Stephen Febianto Kusumo. With this certificate, it increases the confidence of AAM's business partners who comply with and adhere to international trade.
