As a clear manifestation of its commitment to public health, Argon Peduli organized a community service event offering free health checks and medical treatment in Desa Ciomas, Bogor Regency, on Saturday, September 13, 2024.
The event, attended by over 200 village residents, aimed to prevent chronic diseases and raise awareness about the importance of early disease detection through regular health screenings.
During the event, participants received free health checks, including blood pressure, blood sugar, and uric acid tests. These screenings are essential for detecting the risk of chronic diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, and gout, which can significantly impact quality of life. Participants also received direct health consultations from the on-site medical team.
The event was graced by the presence of PT Medela Potentia's Human Resources Director, Mrs. Nancy Kartika; AAM Bogor Branch Manager, Mr. Deni Fahrizal; Ciomas District Head, Mr. Tirta Juwana; Ciomas Police Chief, Commissioner Iman Wahyudi; Commander of Military District 2113/Ciomas, Major Zurnalita; and Ciomas Village Head, Mr. Jaza Gozali.
Through Argon Peduli's community service initiative of free health checks and medical treatment, it is hoped that public awareness of the importance of health will be heightened, and access to healthcare services will be more readily available to all levels of society.
"This initiative is a tangible reflection of AAM's commitment to supporting promotive and preventive health efforts, especially for the people of Bogor," said AAM Bogor Branch Manager, Mr. Deni Fahrizal.
The social event received positive feedback from the residents of Desa Ciomas. The community’s enthusiasm was evident, as many participants arrived early in the morning for the health checks. They expressed their gratitude for the care demonstrated through this initiative, which they hope will contribute to improving overall public health.
"We thank PT AAM for their contribution to the residents of Ciomas Village. Health checks are essential for us; after all, good health is everything," said Ciomas Village Head, Mr. Jaza Gozali. He also appreciated AAM's participation in addressing stunting and improving public health in the Ciomas area.
