A total of 30 PJTs from all AAM and DD branches in Indonesia, consisting of several positions such as Logistics Section Head, Warehouse Quality Support, and Warehouse Manager, participated in the training held on May 4-5, 2023, in Jakarta. The training was conducted by the Directorate of Medical Device Surveillance of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia and the Indonesian Pharmacists Association (IAI).
Participants received various training related to policies and regulations on medical device distribution, supply chains in accordance with CDAKB, medical device surveillance and management, and the roles and responsibilities of PJTs in medical device distribution facilities.
This training was conducted to comply with government regulations, particularly the Minister of Health Regulation No. 14 of 2021, which mandates that medical device PJT must have a CDAKB training certificate issued by the Ministry of Health. The certification is valid for five years.
In her speech, AAM's President Director, Juliwaty stated that Medela Potentia, as a group of health product distribution companies, always adheres to government regulations in its business operations.
"Medela Potentia is committed to ensuring the good quality of health product distribution services in accordance with government regulations. We regularly conduct training and certification for PJTs given their vital role in the distribution and surveillance of health products, including medical devices," said Juliwaty.
Head of the Ministry of Health's Certification and Surveillance Team for Medical Device Distribution Facilities, Helsy Pahlemy, emphasized the importance of CDAKB certification in ensuring the quality of medical device products, fulfilling public needs, and maintaining patient safety.
"Distribution is an essential aspect, hence CDAKB certification is necessary for technical responsibility holders. Participants who work in the distribution field should be able to ensure the quality of health product distribution to the patient's hand," said Pahlemy.
