GPOS B2B Unveils Latest Innovations at PIT IAI

GPOS B2B, a pharmacy and medical device ordering application, introduced SP Digital feature at the 2024 Annual Scientific Meeting of the Indonesian Pharmacists Association (IAI) in Mataram, West Nusa Tenggara, on Thursday, August 29th 2024.

The event was attended by the head of The Indonesian Food and Drug Authority (BPOM), Mr. Taruna Ikrar; Chairman of IAI, Mr. Noffendri Roestam; Director of Pharmaceutical Production and Distribution at the Indonesian Ministry of Health, Mrs. Dita Novianti Sugandi; and AAM’s Quality Assurance Manager, Mrs. Sulviria.

Pharmacy facilities can now place precursor orders digitally through the SP Digital feature in the GPOS B2B application. This solution complies with BPOM regulations, specifically BPOM Regulation No. 24 of 2021 on the Supervision of Drug, Narcotic, Psychotropic, and Precursor Pharmaceutical Management in Pharmaceutical Service Facilities, which includes the provision for electronic precursor ordering.

This digital solution addresses the challenges of pharmaceutical precursor distribution by pharmaceutical wholesalers (PBF), such as order letter accuracy, validity, receipt at pharmaceutical facilities, and rational order analysis.

Digitalizing precursor ordering not only speeds up and simplifies the ordering process but also includes archiving of Order Letters (SP) that can be accessed and downloaded for up to five years.

“There is now a platform that simplifies product ordering services, including precursors at AAM. Just five easy steps, from selecting precursor products to issuing and validating orders,” said Mr. Henry Ongkojoyo, Head of Digital Business & Channel Development at AAM.

GPOS also conducted a socialization session with hundreds of pharmacists about digital pharmacy business development solutions within the GPOS Ecosystem, including pharmacy operational systems via GPOS Lite and end-to-end pharmacy establishment solutions.

GPOS is presented as a digital solution product by AAM, a subsidiary of PT Medela Potentia, which for over four decades has been trusted to enhance national healthcare access and resilience.
